When I was a young girl, I loved to mix things together.  It started with mud pies, moved onto  lilac perfume then onto baking.  I was fascinated with the chemistry component of things.  As for baking, I was more interested in the science than the culinary aspect.

With such an interest in baking, you would think that culinary school would be my next step.  Not for me...I decided to study pharmacy.  After a few years, I returned to study nuclear pharmacy.  Although very interesting, something was missing.  After some self reflection, I realized that I wanted to follow my passion.  I loved to bake and be creative.  my own kitchen was my personal lab.  I started to take apart recipes and push them to the limits.  I would play with textures, flavor combinations and stability.  the end result has changed the cookie business.
